Did the medication after your BA make you sleepy and any other side effects ?

Did anyone feel sleepy constantly after their BA ? Am on day 3 post op, I don’t mind that it is as theirs little I can do anyway ? What side effects did they give you ?

Hi I’m on day 4 and still very very sleepy. (and can’t stop eating) grrrrr!

I’m not in much pain anymore (but this is my second op so this is probably why) Think I’m going to stop taking the codeine as I think this makes you feel crap! Also I haven’t been to the loo since Wednesday (sorry) and I’m blaming the codeine for this too!

I’m just going to make sure I take the full course of antibiotics as they will prevent infection.

Just rest up as much as possible and you’ll be feeling fine in a few days x

I felt very sleepy from the GA and from painkillers. 2 days PO I stopped taking pain killers as didn’t really feel in much pain & before when I have taken co codermal it’s made me hallucinate! I also think you feel tired as your bodies trying to heal…After a week I felt back to myself x

I had problems with being dizzy all the time until about 8 days PO. I am now 11 days PO and still sleepy as hell.

Sleepy and really bloated, stomach went down after about 10’days. I didnt go to the toilet for about 4-5 days! X

ohh yes sleepy and no poo for 4 days bad times:p constantly hungry as well

Joanna glad I’m not the only one. Had toast for breakfast, out for Sunday lunch, profiteroles, had a Cornett too and now I’m planning Tea! Fancy a takeaway pizza what’s going on…… x

i felt tired for about 3/4 days, ate constantly due to boredum, and didnt take any painkillers xxx

It took me until day 4 to be able to stay awake more than 3 hours, wasn’t too bad after that xx
