Did u go alone to hospital?

Hiya ladies. Hope ur all well

I was just wondering if any of you went alone for ur op & then just had partners/family/friends pick u up after?

I was planning on getting boy friend to drop me off then go home to look after my little boy then I’d ring him after to pick me up as I’m having the day case.

Is this a good idea? He really hates hospitals & gets so agitated just sat waiting so thought I’d be better off doing it alone x

hey hun… i got dropped off at the door and picked up at the door. no faffing about, we have kids too. hubster did carry my bag, open car door and tell me i looked well white though pmsl (hes a joker lol)

If you are anything like me then you will spend most of the day sleeping anyway hun. So long as you have someone to drop you off and pick you up you will be reet xx

Think I’d prefer to be alone. Give me chance to rest without him moaning ” Hurry up meg, eat summat then we can go home”

I got dropped off and picked up, I wanted to be on my own, I was all calm and not nervous.at all but.my.bf would have.purposely tried to wind me up if he was there so I told him to go sight seeing lol xx

Haha i thought my boyfriend would be like both of yours but he was actually really good and sat patiently for 12 whole hours bless him. Then when i came round he was just looking after me, i thought he had been replaced by an alien! lol xx

I’m just getting dropped off and picked up too but I’m an overnight stay xx

My bf stayed with me, was glad…didnt like the thought of coming round from the GA without him there (soppy, I know!) and neither would he… I stayed overnight, he couldnt wait to get back to the hospital next morning!x

my bf cant get the day off so hes jus droppin me off an pickin me up but my mums gonna be with me:) x

I’m doing it alone getting train there in morning then being dropped home to be looked after by my daughter lol x x
