Did you tell your workmates before?

Im a trainee teachin assistant at a secondary skool. And alread get a huge cheer of the boyz wen i walk into there lessonz! A hope they dnt notice cz al get torcherd!!xx

I know, its confusing, I’m the same as you- I don’t want to be known as “the girl who had a boob job” or for it to affect my reputation – but I also don’t want to tell them or let them think I’m wearing chicken fillets because I find that really embarrassing!!

Hey girlies!

I’m struggling with the same issue! There’s another girl at work who is arranging to have one but she works on a different floor to me so wont be around for immediate backup ifanything is said in front of peeps. Thing is, I keep focusing on the fact that I’ll be the office gossip for a while but it will pass. I may then be known as “the girl who had a boob job” (perhaps only until the other girl does too..?..). I’m just wondering whether to go down the route, if I get questioned about my slightly different shape, of saying I’m wearing chicken fillets..?…!??!??!?? Whatever pops out my mouth will pop out. I might start wearing chicken fillets after crimbo and then just tell people I am cos they’ll notice, and then when I have my boob job they’ll possibly think I’m wearing the chickens long term…

Difficult one! Still, I’m not telling anyone up front Im actually doing it. Some people know I’d like one tho. Let them have their opinions. I’m just not sure I want to lie if I’m asked directly. Will be weighing that question up until my op date!!

i work in a bar and im having the same thoughts i dont want to tell any1 at work about it, iv told my best friend who i work with but thats it and im not planning on telling any1 else, i think i will get so much stick especially from the male customers who speek their mind, im just going to wear my sports bra to work and hoodies it is winter after all really hope no1 notices xxx

In on 21st so could easily (& probably will) put weight on over xmas!!! I’m not going massive either, just 320 unders, but am so flat now it’s gonna show, but I guess that’s the whole point!!!!!:smile:

It’s a tough one! Do you think it’s possible to pretend u haven’t had anything done, & wear non-revealing clothes in the winter then when summer’s here everyone will be used to the new shape & not shocked? I know when I was younger, my friend who sat next 2 me at work even noticed when I got a new wonderbra!!!!

i work with all men in a construction firm and i have told them all and i am the only women

they keep going on about a grand revielling haha!!! i was like……….. in your dreams haha

i told them as i couldnt be bothered with the remarks or comments

i also work for a major bank! and i told some of my work friends!! i wasnt bothered who i told! as im so happy with them!! and anybody who is jealous makes me laugh! XX

I work at a Bank in investigations (very serious job) on a team of 13 guys ages 22-37 (im 22) and Im going from a 32AA to a 32D hopefully, so the difference will show! It’s not the kind of thing that would usually be discussed in a professional office but I dont know whether to tell a few of them first to avoid too many stares or whispers.. also my manager is a woman (very nasty jealous woman) so I dont know whether to tell her either?

Im so excited about having it done but Im so worried about going back to work..

Im not telling people at work.its got nothing to do with them and there all much older than me,im 26,and i dont see why i should have to explain myself to them coz i no they wont understand.if they notice then fair enuf but i defo dont plan on telling them.i wont be wearing revealing clothes to work anyway so i should be ok lol.i having my ba in jan and am a little worried about the whole work thing but jst think its ur body ur life,got nothing to do with anyone else.worst case senarior we wil be the office gossip for a day or 2 but it wil soon pass and they wil get over it lol x

HI. i work with male and female staff, I was very selective with who I told only one male in the company and about 4 girls. I’m not really that bothered about more females knowing as it will arouse curiosity, I just didn’t want to go back to work with males staring at me!!!! I would very be self conscious then!!! I went back today after BA Nov 30th. It was ok but i could see some girls looking at me twice (ha ha). I’ll have to develop a thick skin but in the same breathe i will nip it in the bud if office jokes start!!!

haha their girlfriends will wonder why the guys have started taking such an interest in their pills haha

or that you’ve gone on the pill (or changed pills) it could be true!!

I could just tell them its a woman thing.. a hormonal thing!! hehehe they wouldn’t know any different haha

it is really hard not being able to show your excitement. Jus say youve put weight on whilst you’ve been off and its all gone onto your boobs

That must be so tough to hold the excitement in!!

Its just the thought of walking into work after two weeks off, everyone will be talking to me and Ill just feel so self conscious – even if I love them!

hey….. im currently a trainee doctor and ive kept it well to myself. its not worth the hassle i will get from people (including my family) as to the whole ‘i should no better’ etc etc. Only my boyfriend knows. xx

I work with men and women and the men at my work have offered to have a whip round if i go the next size up from what i’d decided!!!!!!!!!!!! Ive been open with them from when i decided on it as we are all quiet close and have a laugh.

I would just mention it in passing, i’m sure once 1 person knows the rest of the office willknow by the end of the day. When are you booked in for? Ive been to meet Mr Kazzazzi today and just trying to work out when to book for.
