Difference between overs & unders? x

I keep making so many posts lol, sorry.

I never had it explained to me by my surgeon what the difference is between unders and overs, can anyone explain? X

Overs go on top of the muscle, they give more of a fake look if you like as obviously with them being over the muscle the implant is more prominent but they’re only good for girls that have enough tissue on top to cover them. If you don’t you risk rippling stretch marks etc. Unders go underneath the muscle and are much better for girls that are very small to begin with & look a little more natural than overs the recovery can be tougher but only because the muscles been stretched to put the implant under you can also get partials which is half and half basically 🙂 the risks are the same with either tho rippling stretch marks etc can still occur with either. When you meet your surgeon to discuss sizes they should advice which will be best for you & your results! Good luck with your op xxx

I had my initial consultation, surgeon consultation and pre-op all on the same day! I was expecting to have blood tests and all sorts, but not at all! Went in, had my blood pressure checked, answered some questions and the nurse took some photos and told me what bras to buy and that was basically it! She said I didn’t need any blood tests because everything I answered was fine. So that was it, I’d already booked my surgery and the nurse gave me the go ahead! So for me, it was really quick and simple! 🙂

Hiya huni, my surgeon has recommended unders and I think my boobs are a little sagging I’m a 34b I’m so confused xxxx

Ahh thank you so much Levi, I’m hoping that’s the case with me too then – I answered no to all the health risks!! That’s made me feel soooo much better!! Not good with needles, I already know what an anaesthetic needle is like, as I’ve had an op before, so I’m not dreading that so much as the blood test! Fingers crossed I won’t have to have one then!!

Ah that’s good Harriet, you should be fine! Ah amazing! Mine is on the 26th of April! Can’t wait but I am TERRIFIED! ? See you’re so brave… I’m dreading the whole thing to be honest! But I want boobs so badly ?? So I’m just gonna have to get it over and done with. I really think I’m gonna be a mess on the day! Crying, screaming… And what ever else! I hope not though ? xxx

I am too – I stalk so many people on instagram too!! Haha! Aww you’ll be absolutely fine, I’m sure!! My first op was a few years ago and I asked the anaesthetist to give me numbing “magic cream” to put on my hand because I’m so scared of the pain of needles! So embarrassing but worth it 😉

I know how you feel though – the excitement outweighs the nervousness! Can’t wait to have boobs!! xxx

Youl both be fine girls it’s nowhere near as bad as you think the nurses kept asking me how I was if I was nervous etc I have never felt so calm it was so strange only when I was walking down to the theatre and laid on the bed I believed it was actually happening haha! More of a worry what nonsense you’ve been talking to them once you’ve had the anaesthetic definitely just like having far too many wines on the weekend haha! The days over so fast too youl both be walking out with some new twins before you know it ?? xxx

Hahaha oh god Aimee, I talk absolute crap on wine, God knows what I’ll be saying lol!

Also, I found out today I’m having partials – does anyone know whether partials need lots of time to fluff out or do they drop and stay the same size?
