Different Profiles

Hi Girls

I have seen a few of you talking about low, moderate and high profile implants! I was just told i could chose between 340, 380 and 410 but nothing about profiles!!

what difference does the profile make?

Should i find out what profile Mr Traynor intends to use?

Hi honey, your surgeon will know what profiles will be suitable for your frame, as profiles depend on the size of your chest wall and all the measurements of your breasts etc. High profiles are fuller and project more outwards, moderate high profiles project outwards slightly, and low profiles (I think) are for wider chests. Hope this makes sense!

I would have thought that Mr T would have done all your measurements and discussed this with you? Maybe you could arrange another consultation with him xxx

Yes the girls in this forum are so helpful! Definately arrange another consultation with surgeon, I was the same when I had my first consultation with my surgeon, I came out with lots of questions I wished I had asked him and ended up arranging another consultation. Make a note of asking your surgeon about unders or overs, profiles and size. There are also different implants you might want to ask about too. Tell surgeon exactly what you want to achieve and go from there. Good luck xxx
