Heyyy I’m now 9 days po and have pretty much no more pain and am healing well. When the nurse saw me on Saturday she was really happy but looking at my new boobs today one looks a different shape to the other ? one seems more like a natural breast and the other just feels like I needs to catch up and isn’t as rounded and full yet. Is this normal? They’ve both looked pretty much the same until now and worried it’s going to stay like this lol. X

Hiya I am only 5 days post op but from all the research I have done over the years, I would say this is normal, it can take up to 6-8 weeks for your shape to fully settle, if you look at most pics people have the shape changes weekly until they are fully settled in, also as far as I’m aware it can be entirely normal for one to drop before the other, I’m sure you have nothing to worry about, also reassuring to hear your feeling great after 9 days ??☺️ Hope this info help a little x

Thanks for your reply Liv ? I should know by now that daily they are changing im just at a bit of a panic today haha! I guess if there was anything wrong my surgeon would sort it. I still love them even though they look a bit funky at the moment haha!
How are you feeling? What size did you go for? X

I think a lot of patience is key to have a BA lol ? glad you are loving them, I’m feeling a lot better today which I am so happy about as I was having to have help to do everything, still sore and taking things slow ! But getting better everyday ? I got 450cc in each i was going to get 400cc but I’m so glad I went for the 450 cc ….. Did you have to wear a breast band at all? I’m finding mine so uncomfortable under my poor armpits ? x

Ahhh that’s so good! I wish I had gone bigger to be honest but I was too scared. I wasn’t part of this forum when I decided I think if I had of been I’d of definitely gone bigger! But never mind I’m still happy 🙂
Yeah I’m wearing the horrible band 🙁 need to keep it on until Saturday so it will have been two weeks! Can’t wait to take it off and let me boobs breathe lol! It’s like digging in under my admits and giving me a bad back lol. How long do you need to wear yours? Xx

I had done so much research on everything before making any choices lol and girls had always said they where glad to go bigger than smaller so I went with the bigger choice lol, Iv only just joined today! Oh god two weeks!! ? don’t tell me that haha! I will be having my 1 week post op on Wednesday so I was hoping I would be allowed it off but maybe not ? we will see ☺️ I do open the band around 4-5 times a day for like 15-20mins only while seated though as I was told this was ok, have you opened yours up at all? What sort of pain meds where you taking? I’m still counting down the time untill I can next have medicine lol and did you have one side more painful than the other? I had partials wbu? X

Oh god I was worrying because I’m only 5ft tall that anything bigger than 350cc would stretch me too much I wish I had gone that little bit bigger but oh well I might do in a couple years. At the moment mine look natural which I quite like. I had practically nothing before so happy either way!
Yes I’ve been taking the band off too for about 5-10 mins occasionally but not too often as don’t wanna ruin anything. I was hoping my nurse would say I could have it off on the Saturday just gone but she didn’t lol! I took cocodomol for the first 3 days but after that it was making me really dizzy and sick and days 4 and 5 I just to paracetamol and ibuprofen and since then nothing! I had overs so meant to be less painful xx

Wow you are brave, I personally don’t think I would consider another surgery! ?This one was far too painful but then again I suppose you had overs which like you say is a lot less painful!! Sounds like you have a nice size for your height ?? I haven’t been massively strict with the band opening times ??‍♀️? there’s been a few times I have had it open and kinda forgot and like an hour has passsed ? but as far as I’m aware the bands there to stop the implants from moving up the chest and also to help encourage the drop of the implants, as long as I’m seated when it’s open should be ok. Gosh I have been taking a lot since my surgery but again like you said I had partials and yours where over the muscle! Which I wish I had due to less pain ? xx

    Hi
I don’t wear a band at all just my sports bra I take it off for about 10-15 minutes a day
No pain killers now but I do get a burning pain when I wake up around my incision scare. Which is covered by a dressing I’ve had no blood or smelly stuff it looks fine
Once I get out of bed I get no pain it’s just these 2 mornings I’ve had this.
Going to take a nice quiet shower to feel and smell nice now ?
    I had under muscle 375

Hi josie, how lucky that you don’t have the dreaded band! How long ago did you have surgery? I keep getting an acid/burning type feeling in the incisions and bottom on boobs, how did you find the pain with having them completely under the muscle? I had partials 450cc and was in so much pain!! – so jealous your having a shower ?

Hey girls! I’m just 1 day post op and I’m dying from this tight band!! I had 325cc partials from 34aa. I have really bad burning sensations around my incision area! Please tell me it gets better.. I couldn’t even walk whilst standing straight I look like the hunchback of notre dame!! Im starting to feel super depressed..

Hi Aries, your not alone I honestly thought I was going to die on the first and second day after the op, I could only take tiny breaths as it was so sore! And yes I have had the burning sensations too I find it comes and goes, has had me in tears lol I was told I could release my band 4-5 times a day while seated, if you are allowed I would advise some time seated with the band open as I found this really helped with the pain and tightness, I also looked like the hunch back haha I couldn’t stand straight my hair is long and dark and I fully looked like the girl out of the ring when attempting to walk! I couldn’t sit up unassisted for a few days! Partials are more painful than overs, I kept myself well dosed up with meds, you will be ok ☺️ X

Thanks so much for the reassurance girls! I really needed it. I’ve been helping myself with getting out of bed, eating etc (my flatmate goes to work so I don’t exactly get someone to help me around most of the time) I just hope that doesn’t cause any sort of strain/to open up my incisions! I’ve been super paranoid but I guess that’s normal to feel..

It looks like one has dropped and the other hasn’t just yet.. as my nurse said treat them like two different operations…My left one has been far more stubborn than my right one… 8 weeks later and they are even now… The left was still slightly higher even at 6 weeks.. I had under the muscle though so I know they take longer to drop anyway… Keep an eye on it but I’m sure it’s normal 🙂 xx
