I am one week today and at my pre op appt we booked for me to return to see the nurse today. As i hadn’t been contacted to confirm like they usually do i thought i’d ring a couple of hours before as my husband was leaving work early especially.
Thank god I did! Although the nurse had put the appt in my file she hadn’t put it on the system and even worse isn’t actually there today!
As it is there’s no harm done and i have an appt for tomorrow but imagine if my hubby had left early, driven 45mins in the peak traffic to collect me to drive 45 mins to clinic and then to find it closed! Oh and of course i now have to wait another day to shower and have to sleep upright again.
So my advice is, check your appts girls!!
