Dissolvable stitches

Im having them for my ba.. Anyone had them? Seems a bit weird :S xx

I had them. Not wierd… good really! Although I did have to have a couple of them cut out because they weren’t dissolving. But compared to having normal stitches removed or having staples… i’d go for dissolvable any day of the week;-)

I dont know why but i imagined it to be like glue… Hahaha xx

Yeah, I did. I think most of the girls on here did. Just means you don’t need them taken out at your 1 week check x

PCM I had a big one hanging out me left boob – had a gently pull it out…… I shit myself thought they had left some fishing line in me boob lol xxx

I am having staples on the anchor scar are and dissolvable around the nipple 😯 eeeeekkk!!! xxx

Dissolvable quite good but watch out for the few stubborn suckers that don’t dissolve at the end. Don’t touch them just make sure to get them trimmed by nurse. Mine wreaked havoc and got infected and the trouble lasted til week 7 !!!

aha anchovie maybe that’s what mine is then. I have a really red patch at the end of my right incision, it just appeared a few days ago but it’s not sore x

Probably belle! I left mine for weeks until It was going green and oozing. Took weeks. Do u want me to look at a picture ? Look at mine u will see on right nipple a hole!!!! Xxx

Yes please do. It doesn’t look too bad in photos so I just thought I’d leave it and keep an eye on it. I’m seeing Dr Singh next week anyway for my 6 week check so he’ll probably see it. What did they do to it when you got it seen to? x

Think there’s a request outstanding so I can’t see your picture. What the nurse did was poked around under the scabs and found the threads only thing is the infection continued beyond that for a couple weeks. Gone now thankfully
