Dizziness a week post op??

hi girls im a week post op and i still feel very lightheaded,i had to have 2 lots of anaesthetic as i had some complications so i thought that could be the reason why,but its been a week now so im getting worried…im still most of the time in bed as if i get up for longer i get dizzy and feel a bit sick,my heart races etc…is that normal?xx

Yeah I had lots of dizzyness and I thought the op had permanently damaged my heart coz it would go really fast at the slightest movement…but Im now 3 months PO and all is back to normal. Check with your nurse or tell her in your post op appointment cos its good to be checked out just in case there is anything goin on xx

thanks a lot *bethy*,i went to see my gp today,everything seems to be fine,he told me i might be anaemic and the blood loss caused that but im having some tests done as well…how long did it go for? im worried as it can get scary sometimes,i didnt think its normal but your post made me feel better…xx

I think it gradually got better over time…I probably felt completely back to normal by about 8 weeks, which sounds a lot but each day is better than the last, it’s a gradual thing…before you know it, you’ll be fine xx

Similar experience anyone??xx

yea I was so dizzy and tired and was scared something is wrong. It stopped after a lil bit over 2 weeks.
