Do all boobs drop?

Yes or no answers please… I keep being told my boobs WON’T drop. But surely at 5days post op they haven’t settled already and aren’t going to stay as they are? And from what I’ve read on here, they are supposed to drop! And everyones have! So please can I have some clear opinions?

JUST YES OR NO – DO ALL BOOBS DROP WHEN HEALING/SETTLING?

I know you just wanted one word answers but who told you that they wouldn’t drop? It’s impossible for them not to; nobody’s implants just sit on the top of their chests forever! xx

Thanks hun. My point exactly. Since I said on here earlier about me being worried about mine turning saggy all I’ve had is “aw no theyre perfect they won’t drop”.

I know everyone is only trying to be nice and reassure me and I really am so so grateful for that – but I’m not stupid. And my problem isn’t with the way they look now. It’s what they will look like when they drop – people don’t seem to be listening to that. Yes they look great now – that’s the problem. They’re not going to stay like it! They already rest on my stomach when I sit down ‘( x

i think people are just doing the ‘does my bum look fat in this?’ thing, i was as honest as i could be before hun, they do look amazing now, but if they drop much more an uplift would be on the cards (well for me anyways, and i feel you think the same) xx

Yes they will, by wearing a good fitting bra it will not be as quick as wearing a not supportive one.

Mine hardly dropped, defo not so the scar is under my boob I don’t hav a “boob fold” like how natural boobs hang down :S but that mite b coz I had tubulars x

All boobs drop hun, its the implant dropping into the pocket created by the surgeon, also natural breasr tissue sags as we get older, so even with implants in your boobs wont stay super pert from now till u nees them changed they will sag slighty jusy not as much as if u didnt have implants, the bigger the implant the more likely it is the will sag quicker xx

Nikki – think u misunderstood hun. I know obviously all boobs real or fake with time will sag. But I mean during the healing process of my implants. My pocket created by my surgeon seems to be that it’s going to end up half way down my chest. I don’t mind that happening in 10 years. But not 10 weeks. And my boobs were never super pert on day one. This is the problem. Day 6 and sagging? Can’t be right.

It’s horrible isn’t it hun. U want them to stay as they are but u just know they’re not going to. And it’s just frustrating when people tell you they look amazing because you know that, and you know they’re not going to stay as they are oh yeah u went in the day before me didnt u! Did u have unders or overs hun? xxx

I had overs hun, you? I haven’t thought a lot about it to be honest hun, everyone I happy with my surgeon so I’m confident just have to wait and see what happens lol x

I think I understand what you are saying honey,they are perfect for you now,but you want an estimate of how much more they will drop as they settle,not in a year or 10 years time,I think it depends on your skins elasticity honey and the size of the implants and where they were placed, from what Ive read on here unders tend to take longer to drop,I had overs and bear in mind my skin will be a lot less supple than your because of my age,and mine dropped a couple of cms in the first 12 weeks then they seemed to stay put.xx

That’s exactly it Tina. Saw the nurse. She said its really to early to tell where they will settle but they won’t drop as much as I think. She said my incisions are higher than I think they are. Kath, my nurse at MYA Cardiff, is lovely and she really put my mind at ease when I saw her. I am still worried but not panicking as much as I was. But Kath said I need to wait until 6 weeks really to see how they settle and if I still have these concerns, to speak to my surgeon. xx thanks again for all your help everyone xx
