Do i actually need to remove my acrylic nails before my opp ???

You will never EVER see me without my nails done …. i read in my notes that acrylic nails should be taken off before surgery?

Have any post op girls had to do this before their own surgery ?

yeh u do they need to see ur nail bed..somethin to do with the anistetic xx

their all my natural nail just acrylic over the top , all my hard work will be cut off haha

yup, off, everything has to come off, under your nails harbours more germs and bacteria then an average toilet seat, and that in a sterile theatre alone is bad news, also they need to have a monitor on your finger that needs to read your pulse and cant properly with nails on

i took mine off and bought cheap glue on ones, that i just pinged off the night before my op, and stuck another set back on after the op until i got to the nail bar. without my nails i dont feel me, and i cant use normal things like my phone xx

I am exactly the same i wont be able to do anything without them!

just get some glue on yourself ones hun, mine stopped on after the op for nearly a week before i went back and got my talons put back where they belong xx

i honestly didnt see another way of doing it, i was due an infill but only had 18 days between booking and my op, so i got them off in the hope they would harden and look nice for my op, i lasted six hours before i though eff this, i need nails, went and got mine back on, then off again the day before, with my stick on ones when i got home xx

joannabella i done same as u my ops week on fri, so i had mine taken off insted of infills andc bought stick on ones from boots guna get another packet for after op till i can get acrylics put bak on, same with lashes i have hollywood, but bn wearing boots false ones … but i guess health is worth more than lookin glam on an operating table lol x

more germs then a toiet.. yuck lol x

they need to be able to clip that thing on ur finger to listen to your pulse too they kept doin that to me lol and dnt think it would work through acrylic nails x
