Do Implants hide cancer so its not detectable??

I would love a boob job but have heard so many scare stories that they hide lumps and possible cancer lumps that are in your boob when you have a mamogram, i’m too young to have this scan done as i’m only 21, but my nan has had breast cancer last year and she survived thank god as it was caught early, i’m just worried to have something done that could hide something that could kill me. helppppp

No. My pc told me the implants actually make it easier to detect any lumps. and as long as you tell them you have implants, they can do the mamogram differently x

really??? how though??? my boyfriend refuses to let me have a boob job but i would love one, sick of having titchy boobs lol x

If it runs in your family hun you will need to get checked out before op as far as im aware, implants do make it harder to detect but if you have them under the muscle then it shouldnt obscure anything xx

I dont want to go massive just so it looks like i have a good pair lol and whats the difference with it being in front or behind the muscle? i’d be scared if something went wrong x

If they are behind the muscle all the breast tissue is in front of the implant so all is vissable x

With overs, your breast tissue is also infront of the implant x

if you google this question you will see that no matter if the implant is in front or behind the muscle it does not hide any cancerous tissue or lumps it does make it slightly harder to take monogram pictures but as long as you tell them you have implants then they will take more pictures x

hey! i herad implants over the muscle hide the cancer more as the implant blocks thngs from the mamogram but unders only partially hide it…but i was told when u tell them you have implants they do things slightly different and can work round it…have a look on net or book a consultation and get it from the horses mouth! My mother in law survived b cancer so i feel really guilty bout doing this, half of me things its silly when ppl go thru stuff like tht with their boobs x
