Do mya cover for bottoming out??

does anyone no pls??

im pretty sure they do, because it says on their policy that they ‘cover the initial look for 3 years’ I think…. I’ll look it up again and copy-paste it here 4 you

This is also MYA’s 10 year guarantee aftercare policy:

MYA’s aftercare will cover the original result for three years, 5 years for capsular contracture and the implants have a 10 year guarantee. MYA have an open door policy so you can come back and see a surgeon at any point after your operation and we have a 24 hour careline number. After your procedure, you will have post operative appointments with the nurse and surgeon.

Capsular contracture usually happens in the first year so thats why they only cover you for 5 years on that. They also say they only cover the implants for 10 years because naturally your boobs will change because of ageing, pregnancy etc. I think them covering the original result for 3 years is just if you’re not happy with the result, e.g. they were much smaller than you asked for, rippling, bottoming out etc etc.

Siobhanmarie- I totally agree with you as it is a massive thing and very scary if something goes wrong… however, the probs on here are very few and far between based on the fact that only a small percentage of girls are on this forum. Has Harley medical got a forum like this too? If not, then you won’t really know about things like this happening as theres no contact with other patients. I must admit, I was getting a little worried about reading these posts today so in my surgeon consultation on thurs i’ll be asking lots of questions about this and my surgeons history with this. Fingers crossed!

Yeah i have they accepted me for my loan with them too.. but i wanted to see what else was around.. I just felt more comfortable with harley and they seemed alot more professional.. i saw properly trained nurses for my consultation.. and there is a clinic based in bristol i can go to anytime.. MYA had just moved offices when i went to see my PC there and it all seemed thrown together.. just made me abit uneasy.. plus 2 of my friends have been with Harley aswell and said they are second to none.. i dont know.. i havent slept properly in days my brain is in overload!! Such a stressful experience! LOL.. x

@ siobhanmarie.. Hi! I just had to say, that i went to MYA bristol clinic when they had just moved too!! It was sooo empty & cold! And my PC couldn’t even find half the things!! Just shows that they don’t want to go without buisness eh!?

I can’t remember who posted now, but someone said Harley medical group quoted £3000 for a BA!
