do pain killers make you feel high?

Went to see my nurse today and she said that the pain killers i am being given are very strong so i might feel “on top of the moon” in her words. does this mean i will be feeling high as a kite? Seen so many funny videos on youtube of people after having their wisdom teeth out and the pain meds have made them act high.

They can do huni depending on each persons tolerance x

They didn’t do anything other than make me VERY dehydrated…could not get enough water, I would nearly cry if I couldn’t get any very odd feeling indeed. xxx

At first they can make u feel a bit chilled and a warm fuzzy feeling comes over u, but then u get a tollerance to them and it soon goes away. Id try not to take the cocodomol or codeine for longer than u need to tho cos its highly addictive!x

It also makes you really constipated!!

I’m taking paracetamol through the day & co codamol at night. I hate how the co codamol make me feel, but guaranteed a good sleep off them. Take senokot to tho as they really bung you!xxx
