Do people really keep the socks on for 7 days?!

There doing my head in end of day one! Do I really need them on for 7 days?! X

i thonk ure meant to keep them i never i left them at the hospital no one told me any different i survived lool im nearly 5 weeks post op x x

I had to check with a colleague because I wasn’t told. She said 48hours. But mine don’t fit and are loose anyway! xx

There a total nightmare I can’t be doing with them already! I might just take them off! X

I literally only had them on for OP!!! Wasn’t told to wear then after n I’m still here!!! x

Yeah asking as you keep moving your legs it will be fine the take them off zx

I took mine off in the night, mine were comfortable and didn’t notice I had them on but I hate socks on in bed! I was not told to keep them on for a certain amount of time, ring the nurse if ye unsure hun, some people are advised to keep them on if they have DVT in the family!xx

I was told 48 hours yesterday. One more day, they are roasting hot.

I was told 7 days! There’s no way I can keep them on for a week, I’ve taken them off now day one as I hate sleeping in socks lol x

Haha holly don’t worry, all I did was cry yesterday so think the ga affected me more than I thought as well! Haha I’ve taken mine off day one I couldn’t hack them lol x

I was told 48 hours too,not sure if its anything to do with the fact that you will not be as active the first 48 hours,that was my guess.But I could be wrong.xxx

She didn’t even give me ones that fit. And then we asked her to sort it and she came back with a new pair and I didn’t realise til I left that she had got me the same size!!! x

I was told to wear them for a week and was a good girl and wore them! I took them off to wash them so got a few hours break every day.

i took them off before i left the hospital..x
