Do they take your bloods at the pre-op? What else to expect?

I’m going for my pre-op tonight in leeds..not sure what to expect? Do they take bloods etc? xxx

I never had my blood taken but im sure i seen a few girls on here had theres taken. They just took my blood pressures, weight, height etc, took Swabs for msra and went over the do’s and don’t from before and after ur op. i was in for about half an hour, there’s quite a few papers to sign. Oh and they took pics aswell so be prepared to get ur boobs out lol. Xxxx

Oo okay. I’m on a massive diet as put some weight on so i’ll of hopefuilly lost by my op, will that matter to them taking my weight now? xxx

I didn have blood taken either an I’m on a diet too wanna loose another half stone before my op in jan so it don’t matter if ur weight is different now or at the time of ur op, I asked the surgeon that an he said it don’t matter, good luck with the diet wat one u doin? X

No it shouldn’t matter if you loose sum weight. I said the same to the nurse that I was planning on losing weight before the op n she said that was fine. Just as long as your not planning on loosing a vast amounts before ur op. but we won’t anyways if the ops in a few week xxxx
