Do unders look more natural and overs look more fake?

yeh generaly…coz the implants under muscle it has more of a slope from the side view, and overs not as much but spose it depends on implant size aswell and what u look like to start with xx

OK this is good news because if poss I would really like overs (I’ve heard it’s less painful and recovery time is quicker)but I don’t want fake looking boobies, I know they are fake but you know what i mean x x x

I was about the ask a question about this. I just wondered because I don’t have much tissue there now (i guess a lot of people on this forum didn’t) would it hurt to have them over with anatomicals? I don’t want the extra agony of under the muscle but worried about the implant showing or ripping (you hear all these horror stories) x

It does depend on how much tissue you have but they will give you the choice you just have to make sure it is the right choice for you,

your surgeons know best girls and will give the best advise. xxx

Please dont be put off thinking under the muscle is so much more painful. Its not a walk in the park granted but at 2 weeks PO i was pretty much back to normal and here i am 3 weeks PO and i forget i’ve had it dont other than the fact i now have a nice set of boobies

Unders do have some advantages so dont rule either out xx

I read tha if u have unders u are At less risk of few things such has rippling, capsule contracture and mammography xx

I have overs and they look VERY natural. So I don’t agree with this theory that overs look faker x

I think it depends on how much tissue u have and the implant size seebi want mine fake more than natural and mr traynor said I’ll have too have overs for what I want but it want be round round so I’ll have to wear a push up bra to make them look really false… But I’m having 410s MHP cui and I can’t lose any weight yet or I’ll have to have unders… So I’m putting weight on n losing it after the op , if you think about it overs is with the breast tissue so if u lose that the you will see implant… But I have friend who had unders with transforms and there look really round and up in the air so it’s prob down to the size of implant and type… For the fake look he said I’d have too have siline which they don’t do lol xxx

Well all I know is when I saw my surgeon Helena I told her I wanted them to look really natural and not like they are stuck on and obvious so she suggested overs to me but that was because I had a good amount of breast tissue so I guess the only advise you can really take is that of your surgeon as they SHOULD know best, take pictures of the look you want too. xx

I had overs and think they look very natural,I think it also depends on the size of the implant and your body stats,overs can look fake on some people,and sometimes that’s the look they wanted to achieve,but they can also look very natural too,the surgeon will advise based on the look you wish to achieve,make sure you tell him/her exactly what you would hope the end result will look like,xxx

i wish my overs look more fake, i was a very flat A cup and im only a size 6, i had 460 overs yet mine still look natural, i thought because of my lack of breast tissue id get the a nice fake look but i didnt dam!!! xx

Dont be put off by unders I was fine and off my pain killers day 3!

It also depends on your pectoral muscle size I was told I could have a natural look with overs I’m 34B after going back to speak with the surgeon to see if I could have unders he said completely under the muscle would never be an option for me (I have tubular breasts so the shape needs fixing) so he can only decide in surgery as he can’t feel how big my muscle is but if not I may be able to have partial unders.

I have a friend who has unders that look fake and another friend with overs that look natural, hard to say as no one’s the same xx

My surgeon said today that I could have overs with the anatomical shape but would have to go under with the round ones so I guess it depends on the implant you chose as well. Anatomicals are less likely to ripple so being over the muscle wouldn’t be a problem and he felt under the muscle would be unnecessary unless I was the 1 out of 20 BA patients within 10 years to get CC or rupturing (which would require re-oportating on) – hoping I am not that 1!
