Do you get a private room if you're a daycase?

Just wondering if I will still get a private room if i’m a daycase???

The nurses are really nice and they bring u food and tea and stuff really quickly its great i wanna go back just for the day lol x

Not until 20th Oct. I just want to get it over and done with now! I’m just getting nervous sitting and waiting for it!

I have warned him that he will need to run around me and look after me and the kids. So hopefully he’ll be prepared….

I had mine done on wednesday the 4th i had trouble even gettin up or layon down for about 3 days then yesterday i fort i was ok to go down town but after 10 mins i almost fainted so to give u some advice, make sure u rest, if u get back ache relax ur shoulders coz it makes ur pain worse, (nurse told me this wen i rang her in major pain) dont overdo anything coz it wipes u out big time. Im feelin ok today but im still not quite ready for work or anything yet i still need to rest. It gets better everyday but it hurts at first for the first 2 days mainly. Dont want to scare u im just lettin u know wat u need to be prepared for. The pain is actually not that bad if u keep ur shoulders and back relaxed it aches more than anything like a dull ache. Its a lot easier than u think its gonna be if u have someone to help u. I can actually move my arms loads now i can even straighten my hair and thats after 5 days so its not that bad. I only waited for 12 days for mine so good luck waitin til october. Whos ur surgeon i had mr adamo xx

That is good advice. I have booked 2 weeks off work and hubby has booked a week and a half. I was hoping to be up and about after 2 days or so (Wanted to go and get my nails done as I’ll have to take my acrylic nails off before the op :o( ) but i’ll take your advice and just chill probably for the first week or so and make sure I relax my sholders and back! Thanks for that! I’ll tell hubby… Yes I have Mr Adamo too. I can’t wait!

I was out of bed the 2nd day but it was really hard so i would defo rethink the nails thing til at least the week after plus ur boobs will not want jiggin about trust me lol. Good luck with it all and mr adamo is really nice. What size u goin for?

I’m quite lucky as I know Mr Adamo personally so I keep sending him texts asking him loads of questions! Bless I’m sure he is sick of hearing from me! I am going for 410cc A little worried it maye too big :o/ I am 36b and want to be 36D/DD but there are some girls on here that had 410cc and end up and E! I’m quite tall (5’11) so hoping if they are a little big I can carry it off :o/ What did you have?

I was a 34a and i had 460 overs think im goin to end up a dd or e although they dont look massively huge now theyre goin down a bit

410’s will probably be perfect me then! Hope so anyway :o/

kirsty- when you say relax your shoulder, do you mean not doing any heavy movements? I am getting a bit nervous now for Wednesday! help

I’m nervous and mine isn’t until 20th Oct! You’ll be fine though. My main worry is that I’m gonna end up looking like Katie Price!

Sharon- I don’t think so hun. You’ve chosen about 2 1/2- 3 cup bigger really. Katie Price looks rediculously too big. You are tall enough to carry them well. Dr Adamo will do good choice for you. I am sure he will let you know if you asked for a natural look at least….

I actually told him that I want to look natural, we’ve agreed for 340cc then I went back to see him and asked if 380cc will not make me look like Posh. I don’t like her boobs really! He said no, not at all. I trust her judgement and I think you chose the right size!

I left the choice completely up to him so I’m sure they will look natrual. You’ll be fine Wednesday evening i’m sure you’ll be thinking you were worried over nothing :o)

Hi keepmesweet i rang the nurse coz i had back pain and my shoulders were really tense which made me tense up my chest so my boobs hurt more the nurse suggested havin a back rub and shoulders massaged or to lay down breath deeply and relax my shoulders and put a hot water bottle inbetween my shoulder blades, trust me it helped loads i had a massage quickly then i did the water bottle thing and the pain was so much better to deal with coz most of it went away. I couldve kissed that nurse wen she told me that coz it made sense that i was too tense therefore in more pain. So remember dont tense up and u get less pain.

Good luck wednesday u will be fine i felt sick and cried before i went down but they r so nice they make u feel better. xx

thanks keepmesweet im healin ok i spose i have good days and bad days or bits of both lol. Feels like i had it done ages ago but its only 6 days ago. Boobs r softenin apart from in the mornin wen they go hard for a bit til ive been walkin about. Scars didnt itch at all yesterday but today they r drivin me mad again so i hope it means they r healin well. Ive got my apopintment with the nurse on thursday to have my dressins removed which i cant wait for but im also scared incase theres an infection but im probably worried about nothin and readin too much on here. kirtyd- I have finally had my BA last Wednesday! My bum is sore, back is ok, but my right boobs is really giving in on me (sharp pain & it feels like my stitches are ripping. I called the nurse and she mentioned that I must relax my shoulder and stop worrying! I guessed this is all the anesthetic leaving my body!
