do you have to get stitches removed or do they dissolve?

pretty much titile says it all???

Hey katiej, some stitches are dis-solvable ones and others are removable ones. It really depends on the individual surgeon and what method they prefer to use xx

I had dissolveable ones with Mr T, it depends on the surgeon x

Hiya, im having Mr c & the nurse told me they will dissolve….

no stitches for me my surgeon uses glue on the external wounds thank fook lol id end up fainting if i had to get stitches removed xx

me too lynz, id def faint they wud have to put me to sleep to get them out, i mite ask at my pre op if i can have disolvable x

i think the majority of surgeons do use dissolavable stitches hun, my surgeon uses dissolvable stitches on the internal wounds and the glue on the external ones which im glad about, mite mean the scars are less bumpy aswell xx
