do you have to go home from hospital with someone who drives?

i read in my leaflets from my pre-op appointment that you have to be picked up by someone who drives. unfortunately out of me and my boyfriend im the only one who can drive and obviously i can’t drive. My boyfriend is going to come with me and we was planning to travel back by taxi and train. do you think they will let me go with my boyfrined and a taxi? as i dont have anyone that can pick me up.

Maybe ask about the MYA transport, because i don’t think you will want to go on a train after your op. xx

does anyone know how much mya transport is as this may have to be an option for me?

thanks. i spoke to my coordinater and she said as long as my boyfriends with me it should be fine to let me go. I think i might just pay for a taxi back, its just going to be very expensive to pay for a taxi from london to bristol lol xx
