    Hi girls,

I got my new ladies on Sunday, everything went really well, the staff at the Fitzroy were lovely.

I have my 1 week post op on Monday, I can’t get a lift there, do you think I’ll be ok to drive? I stopped the painkillers monday night and I think I’m recovering ok, the strapping is giving me trapped wind I think (attractive…) and really hurts my ribs. I’ve been worried I can feel the incisions opening a bit a few times when I’ve moved as well but haven’t felt any bleeding.
Just wondering if anyone else has driven that soon after the op, I’m about 45 mins away.

Can’t wait to get the strapping off, I think I’ll feel so much better then. And REALLY fed up with a numb bum from sleeping sitting up….
I’ll put up some befores and afters on Monday when the ladies are unleashed.

I drove on day 7. It was ok, gear changes hurt a little and the handbrake more so. But straight driving is fine .

ok cool, I’ll probably give it a go then. I’m only in pain from the strapping really although I’m abit worried about the incision. Thank you. 🙂

Yeh I agree with Paula on the gears if you feel fine to drive I would maybe get a little letter from the gp or surgeon for insurance reasons Hun xx
