do you wash your incisions at all?

im just over two weeks post op and ive taken my steri strips off, there was a tiny amount of puss coming out of one of my incisions last night. im about to have a shower and was wondering if i should wash them with a bit of salt water at all? xxxx

If you still have fluid coming out then they may need redressing this is what my nurse told me an gave me some extra dressings, may be worth contacting her xx
