Does anyone know if we can have our pre op at pur local clinic

I dont really fancy going all the way to london just or my pre op, ive hd no healh problms so they wont take blood. Does anyone know if we can just have a pre op somewere else? Have tried to text my pc 4 day go but no reply.. X

I’m booked to see the nurse at my clinic but I dont know if other clinics are different. I though everyone needed blood taken?? From working as a midwife I know that for surgery you usually at least need a full blood count to check that you are not anaemic prior to surgery and also a grouping to identify your blood group in case you need a transfusion, am I wrong???

I’m rhinoplasty lol I’ve spoke to few ppl on here and the only ones that’s had their blood taken was ppl that have had health problems or as you said anemic etc x

i had a ba and had no blood taken on pre op or on the day xx

She finally text me back a week later after i repeated the same txt, apparantly the nurses only work up the london one so i have to travel up there just to see if im healthy lol i hope i am tho x
