Does 'fluffing' REALLY happen for unders??? Would love to hear from you!!! xxx

Hello!

Had my BA last Thursday, so happy with them already, my surgeon is my hero!! They are healing nicely, and the tightness has really subsided, and I am seeing an improvement in shape every day. I feel like they will be looking natural in no time! I do have a small reservation about size. I had 320cc unders (hoping to take my 32B chest to a small 32D), but wondering if I should have gone for the next size up. At the moment I probably measure a C/D, but they do look smaller in clothes unfortunately. It really would be the icing on the cake if they just plumped out that little bit more over the coming weeks! I hear alot about ‘fluffing’ on this website, but when I mentioned it to my surgeon today, he hadn’t heard of it at all! I know surgeons don’t really talk in bra size, so thought I would ask any ladies out there if anyone really has experienced an increase in size over the months following having ‘unders’??? If I end up with a slightly bigger result than I have now, I will be soooooooooo chuffed!

yes it does!!! i was only in 34c sports bra (i had 340 unders fom 34a/very small b 8weeks ago)and have been measured 34e! and they have defo fluffed and my surgeon said i would c final result at 4months so they still have some changing to do! hope this helps xx

Really?? Ooo exciting, that’s so good to hear! I’m wearing a 32C sports bra at the mo (although it is quite tight). I really hope they end up at a D/DD! I bet you’re really happy. Did you feel like they didn’t look very big in clothes to start with? If so, has this chnaged at all now? Thank you!! xx

yes, at first i was kind of disapointed, because with no bra on at first in clothes they just looked how they did before with a gel bra on! but from 2 weeks they changed everyday and now they r fab i love them! it really is a waiting game but ull b so pleased with end result. and i think u will defo b at least a dd! and once u can wear a proper bra they look great in clothes xx

Wahoooooo! That is exactly how I feel- me without a bra now looks about the same as me with a gel bra pre-op (I used to use those big double gel ones!!). Thank you so much, that’s really helped! xx

hi i had 380 unders in june this year, i started out wear a 32a bra left in a 32d bra and just been measured this week and now im a 30f so yes fluffing does happen haha xx

Hey I’m 19 days post op and mine seem to be gettin smaller I had 300 unders, was wearing a 349 sports bra then a 365 then got measured last week and was told I was a 3055 but the 36D sports bra I’m wearin seems to be gettin a bit loose now. Really strange! How long does it usually take for fluffing, they seem to b gettin quite soft too and I am happy with them jst wish they were a bit bigger ! Xx

Hey, I had 340 unders 2 days ago and even though they look fab, theyre a bit smaller then i’d hoped! I was a 34aa pre op and now filling a 34c sports bra.

My surgeon(Mr Traynor)informed me that it can take up to around 4 months for the muscles to soften and allow the implant to settle and fill out. Fingers crossed!!!

congratz!!! Hope you feel fine. Yes, I know a couple of girls who were disappointed with the size and after a couple of weeks the fluff fairy came!! Some say it takes 4 months and I heard from some girls that they even change up to a year after!! So be patient and fingers crossed xxx

Aw thanks hun, I feel great, better than i thought i’d be! Its crazy, im filling a c cup which is exactly what i wanted but i suppose they just look a bit smaller than what i thought they would! Youre right, time will tell!! xxx

Hi girls – you will generally always end up measuring bigger in a normal bra than a sports bra so don’t be disheartened by the size of your sports bra!!

Also the smaller back the bigger the cupsize. I am currently in a 32FF sports bra but am only 28″ around the bust this would make me a 28GG in normal bras however I suspect a 30″ will fit best (30G) If I had a 34″ back I would measure a 34F….does that make sense!!!! x x
