Does GA interfere with periods?

I had a particularly painful period but only for two days and now it’s finished! Anything to do with the general anaesthetic? I’m usually predictable and five days long! Relatively normal cramps. This time was agony and felt even tho I was in codeine for my breast pains !!

Oh great. I get bad pains already. At least I’m on now so I have a month to prepare x

Thank you jade1985. Feel better to know you had it too. Belle – u will be fine. Be prepared for the feeling of sickness and dint underestimate the pain and discomfort. I didn’t plan for that and got a shock!!!!

I was due on the day after my BA but came on the nite of my BA – my nurse warned me this may happen . . . it was very painful too x

My op is on friday and im due on my period the same day hoping to come on early but will they give me sumert to wear if i come on day of op? Xx

Oh ok ive read posts saying we not allowed to wear tampons during surgery or do you mean for after x

i came on 2 weeks early after my ba, and boy did it hurt and my boobs felt like they did on day 1, im dreading my next period, please be kind to me mother nature lol .x
