does it hurt to have the stitches removed??? BA

i thought i was having the disolving stitches but found out today ill be having the ones that need removing! does anyone know what the actual differece is and is one better then the other for scaring etc? also will it hurt??? scared! lol xx

the nurse at my pre op told me today!! i was shocked cos im sure my pc told me id get disolvable ones but apparently mr chantarasak doesnt use them! ring your pc and ask hun, you might be okay! xx

Most use dissolvable or glue so you should be in luck kaylajay Flicky it doesn’t hurt at all your boobs are going to be numb aswell so don’t panic xx

How do they numb them?? lol yes very excited! jess should know i message her every day haha, im getting 260 from a VERY small 32a, might aswell be aa though! xx

no flicky after your op your boobs are numb ,, eee bless you well it will make a huge difference then wont it am excited for you babe xxx

nearly all of mine dissolved, but a couple of stubborn ones, best to get then out as more comfortable and your body will try to over heal itself while trying to expel the stitches, I know from experience seriously itchy, hot and red. feel soooo much better today after getting them snipped yesterday. But to answer the question, no it doesnt hurt as your nerves have already been damaged in the op and are still knitting together hence the numbness, its just the thought of it makes your teeth on edge. x x x

Mr Chatarasak did mine on Tuesday and he used stitches which will be taken out on Friday! I didn’t have a converrsation about stitches but I had stitchs with my c sectioin and that didnt hurt but will try and remember to let you know next week x

normal stitches dont hurt coming out, you just feel a pull really most of my dis-solvable ones havent dissolved at all, so i had 18 days without washing properly, im now 25 days and have four i can feel, one is so bad my nurse at my gp is going to remove it on monday xx
