does mr singh use dissolvable stitches??

Not sure but I had them. They are great as they disintegrate the only trouble is some few stitches just do not and they are quite stubborn and can cause infections. I had a few problems with mine for a few weeks but all sorted in the end. I wd prefer dissolvable rather than staples!!!

Glad you confirmed that Belle, I assumed I had them but wasn’t sure, how long do they take to dissolve? My dressings come off Thursday and I’m getting a bit worried cos my Macom keeps riding up and rubbing so don’t want it to start rubbing the steri strips when they’re exposed

I didn’t really notice when they’d dissolved as my scars were so neat from day 1. I think I still had a stitch or 2 at 5 weeks though because the end of one of my scars went a bit red, but I left it alone and it was fine x

I’m getting my strapping off today I’m 6 days post op will I be allowed a shower? I’m getting desperate I feel minging and strip washing just doesn’t cut it!

On a better note I am soooooo excited to get to see my boobies properly without all this tape on x

yes hun you should be fine i was just told to dry on steri strips with the hair dryer xx
