Heyy hun, I had my pre-op yesterday and the nurse told me that you need a top that buttons or zips up at the front because you won’t be able to put anything over your head xx

Hiya, I couldn’t find anything I liked so I took some oversized vests I already had and managed fine with those. I just stepped into them and my boyfriend manouvered my arms through the holes! Basically anything that allows you to put it on without really having to move your arms much. I had hoodies that zipped up to travel home in which were fine. Anything baggy that won’t hug them too much will do you x

I took a vest top and stepped into it. I lived in vest tops and hoodies for the first few weeks x

as my vest tops are quite tight i thought maybe they will cling to my new boobs too much or it will look too small this may sound silly but do u have to get a tops thats a size bigger than wat i are if bigger boobs makes your top look shorter?haha bit silly i no bt jst popped into my head x

How long before you can lift your arms to wear vests/tshirts (anything not button up!)? A few days? A week?

    Menu

believe me i was lifting my arms up the same day.. because i needed to close the window as my nipples were gonna drop off it was that cold during the night and the nurses didnt hurry their bums up…

not that im recommending it but i had my op on tues and feel as though i could go back to work today!

.. im wearing normal tops already.. but again i wouldnt recommend it

i think i need stop moving my arms. but im in no pain at all and no pain killers –

its just so you dont tear your stitches xxx

I’m having an uplift too, so it might be longer if you have that as there’s more incisions… :(
