Doncaster hotel?

My surgery has been moved to the 28th grrrr. So anyway they JUST told me I’d need to book into a hotel in the area as I need to be close to the hospital in case of complications etc. My boyfriend was planning to take me there and drive us both home again after (2 hours drive). Would I be ok to do this or should I get a hotel?

If I really must stay over, can anyone recommend a good hotel near the hospital? I don’t want travelodge or holiday inn really.

Anyone else booked in for the same day as me (28th is a Saturday)? xx

I live in Doncaster and this is the nearest decent hotel to the hospital, its only about 2 miles away and its only a year old and is right in Doncaster Town Centre

Yeah it was £400 less. Usually they will tell you if you are suitable to be a daycase though.

Carribean is dead close to it but more a b&b than hotel my friends sometimes stay there there’s also the regent hotel chick probably as far as the premier inn might be bit pricey but they do lower their rates xx

Which one coz there is one by the trainstation think they call it fishergate n there’s one by the racecourse n motorway junction to trainstation one will be closer but literally in a taxi to either it will only be a couple of quid if that’s the hotel chain u like!! There’s loadsa hotels here tho xx

I’m having my BA on 17th in Doncaster with Mr Kazzazi, day case but also been advised to stay over so will have a look at these!! Very excited but nervous too!!

the regent hotel is also a good choice or the Danum hotel, the caribbean is a guest house, if you stay at the regent the hospital is on the same road, I stayed overnight in the hospital as part of the price i paid and I am glad I did as I was tired after the op and in some pain to be honest
