    Hi Girls

Is anyone else booked in at Doncaster (I think it’s called Parkhill) on the 7th October? Or has anyone been and has any feedback? So excited.. thinking 340cc and 410cc (I’ve got one protruding chest bone (so 340cc in that one) and one inverted (so 410cc in that to even me out)… very nervous about this! I don’t want to be wonky :-( anyone else got any advise on this?? The other option was 340cc and 380cc but Mr K thinks I need 410cc. Is this a huge difference in size?

    Thanks girls

    xx

Sorry but my experience with Park Hill was not good. Mr. K was wonderful however. I won’t go into it here but wanted to wish you the best of luck with your op. I also had two different sized implants (380 and 410) and no there isn’t a massive difference in size. Trust Mr. K :) xx

i went to parkhill aswell with Mr K. As far as Mr K goes i don’t have a bad word to say about him at all, very professional, very experienced and very happy with my result. As far as parkhill goes, i wouldnt go as far as slating it but wasnt overly impressed especially when compared to other girls reviews as other hospitals such as highgate. I found my aneathetist lacking in communication skills which didnt help my nerves and the nurse escorting to me to surgery was so distant it was as though she wasnt there and considering i ended up in tears from the nerves she sort of stood back and left me to it…

I dont mean to put you off the hospital at all, it was very clean and nicely kept, the majority of staff i came across were so helpful, the nurses on the night shift checking in on me were endlessly helpful so i was probably just unlucky and in at a time when the nurse had possibly had a bad day!

I also had a enquite bathroom and widescreen tv and the dinner/breakfast menu is brilliant :)

Its a lovely hospital and I have no regrets or serious complaints at all so hope all goes well for you aswell :)

    Hiya honey,

It went really well thank you :-) Im feeling great! Didnt have any pain at all just ached abit and ribs felt abit bruised but the pain relief is brilliant stuff.. that good i stopped taking it as it was knocking me out and i was ok and not have any pain! The GA knocked me out totally.. took them 45 mins to wake me up! So i was on oxygen friday afternoon to help me come round which i loved as i just slept loads!

Parkhill is a lovely hospital and the staff are really friendly, professional and there within a few seconds of you buzzing! Big rooms, private bathroom, tv on wall and i thought the beds were comfortable :-)they make you feel at ease too when its your turn and its so quick… i felt a little prick and within seconds i was waking up.. or trying to! lol!

I was a 34A and now wearing a 34D sports bra or a 36C as its not as tight round my back!

    xxxxxxxx

Have to disagree on ParkHill being a good hospital. PM if you want the details as I’ve ranted about them enough already. Just make sure that if you DO have a bad experience there, you MUST put in a formal complaint and let your PC know too, then hopefully MYA will stop using them.

On the other hand, Mr. K, and the theatre staff are FABULOUS. Could not fault them at all, you will be in good hands :D xx
