I’m currently 9 stone and would love to lose another half a stone but can’t seem to manage it.
My job is veryyyy active, my family own a boarding kennel and I manage it. I work 8am-8:30pm Mon-Fri and out of those 12 and a half hours, i sit down for 30 mins for my dinner, the rest of the time i’m on my feet, walking, cleaning etc. I must burn AT LEAST 300 calories a day through work. When i finish my shift, i usually go for a 3/4 mile run then do a few different stomach exercises.
My diet- bowl of special K/bran flakes for breakfast with skimmed milk, dinner i usually have a crumpet with low fat butter, then for tea i usually have quorn, with Smash and vegetables or Chicken and rice with vegetables. So i do eat really healthy and only really snack on fruit.
I’m quite muscley cos I did a lot of gymnastics when i was younger so I’m quite well built. I’d just really really love to lose a good few pounds then I’d be so much happier with my body!
Any advise/tips would be appreciated!! (Sorry for the massive essay!)

hi are doing the run every day x
It sounds to me like you may weigh what you do due to muscle. Muscle is very very heavy and weighs a lot more than fat!!!. Try to just look at yourself in the mirror as apposed to judging what the scales say ( i know its hard). Also muscle feeds of protein so if your eating a lot of protein ( quorn contains a heck of a lot) then thats also possible a reason your staying muscly. xxx
You could try changing your diet, rather than trying to count the calories look at the type of food you eat.
Low Carb or Low GI diets can work really well.
The body will convert carbs/sugar into fat if your body doesn’t burn it all.
Low carb can be hard as you will hit the carb wall but can be worth it as your body will start to burn the fat rather than carbs/sugar.
I lost about a 1.5 stone in the last few months from eating better;
Breakfast – Omelette, hard boil eggs or Wholemeal bread with butter or peanut butter.
Lunch – Salad, with Chicken, or Tuna.. try and avoid white bread, baked potatoes and pasta.
Evening meal – Anything you like.. but try and avoid white rice, pasta, potates, parsnips etc.
Remember to drink plenty of water
I will send you a link to a list of low/high GI foods in private message.
matrixrob could you send me the link too please.xxx
Sent Tina, any questions just ask.
Thankyou so much,xxx
Can I have the link. I’m a chubby funster from lack of gym!
Anchovie, you have to do some exercise! even if its a long walk. Tut
Link sent.
How do I tone up my legs and bum. I have cellulite:-(
Try Strawberry Laser Lipo!
I’ve had 2 sessions on my stomach… OK so I cheated a little and had a little kick start lol
That sounds expensive?
Groupon and KGB often have deals on
so makes it about 75% of the cost.
Or go to the gym!
