dont rush into it

Hi girls.

I have logged on here just for a bit of advice and reassurance.

I had my BA with Mr Adamo a year ago. I asked to go up approx 2 sizes to a d/dd.

I am lucky if i get into an F.

They are hideous, uncomfortable, hard to live with.

Anyone that says that it doesnt hurt after is fibbing. I passed out with pain in the night for the first 10 days.

MYA’s customer service is poor. After I paid I heard nothing. I have not heard or seen them since one week post op.

When i walk past girls now with perfect little boobs I wish I could have mine back. Please take time to think if you really need it! remember – you can always make your boobs look bigger – bras etc. Big boobs means ugly and expensive bras that are hard to get, clothes are harder to buy.

I am seiously going to try getting mine re-done and smaller. they are hideous!

Hi josiejo, so sorry to hear you are not happy, i have to agree with you on taking your time and really considering everything before going into it, i wanted mine done for years and had researched everything and thought about everything,

Also i agree with you about MYA’s customer service, i had paid my deposit and they changed my date twice and my pc never got back to me for days at a time, in the end i cancelled with them and got my deposit back and went directly through the surgeon.

Although i really havnt been in any pain just a little uncomfortable but it hasnt stopped me doing anything, i came off the painkillers after day 3, im 14 days post op tomorrow, everyone has a different pain threshold though, xx

hi sorry to hear this i have friends and a sister who all had ba’s over the past 8 years and only one has the same problem as u she went to big taking in hight weight and getting it right is hard she has same prob with cloths ect.. i had my ba yesterday been thinking of it for the past 4/5 years im in my 40s mr adamo was great at my first meeting i explained what i wanted he ofered a size and said i could go bigger but i said no i wanted just what my padded bras were giving me for years and im realy happy, my friends and i have suported each other in the healing time and your right it shouldnt be taking lightly its a big op and a big change to your body i hope all works out for u x

Absolutely agree about the customer service! Its ridiculous! I was recommended by a friend but cant say id recommend MYA as a company. Im sick of hearing nothing when you leave a message for someone! x

i’m so sorry to hear that you don’t like your new boobs hunn seeing as your so unhappy a reduction is probably the best option. the pain you experienced does’nt sound normal though as i felt next to no pain and a lot of the girls on here and other forums find it very bearable. The customer service is’nt the best from what i’ve heard but luckily i’ve been ok. 410 on your frame should not look ridiculous. maybe you can put some pics up, leaving your face out, maybe including before shots, and we’ll give you our honest opinions as to how they look?? x

Sorry to hear ur unhappy with ur boobs and service but I refuse to believe u look a g from 410. I had 380 and look a d/dd. Also I had overs and didn’t experience any pain in the slightest. Whilst I agree with u that u need to take time over ur decision I think any pre opp girls reading this will be terrified now, it doesn’t hurt it’s just uncomfortable for a few days

Ive not experienced any “pain” just abit difficult to get settled some times at night and abit uncomfortable getting up off chairs and things but nothing to worry about with pain as far as i’m concerned. If you want them done go for it, worth it all. Only thing I can moan about is the service from the clinic, mainly just changing things last minute and not returning messages and calls, my op day at the hospital was fantastic x

Totally agree with sara. Ive just had 380 unders yesterday. I aint in pain im just achey and uncomfortable. I was.completely flat so i feel a lil bit sretched. I look a c at the most at the minute.

I agreebthat yes u shouldnt ruah into it it is surgery at the end of the day. Sorry u aint happy with urs but i think this post could.really put pre op girls off. Can i just add as well i only have paracetemol and iburofen as i am alergic to coide so if i have hardly any pain xx

I think everyone’s pain threshold is different. I know I’m certainly very weak when it comes to pain but I’d say it has been bearable. I couldn’t have managed without the painkillers and my bags of frozen peas though (especially today, 2 days post op). I’m presently only a full C cup from an empty B cup with 340 unders. Hope mine do grow a bit! Whilst some will regret going big, some will also regret not going big enough. It’s the same procedure to get rid as it is to gain so it’s all about getting it right in the first place. x

I think when it comes to myas service u need to remember at the end of the day ur pc is a sales person. They get comision on selling u a ba and going through Mya, once u have paid and had ur opp I think it’s fair to say ur not there main concern anymore and it’s the same with any company u go through. U should only expect to hear from them if ur unhappy or have problems with ur ba x

Josie, maybe your body changed over the year?.. Are you young?.. Or maybe you r on some contraception that has made your breast grow over the year.. Or change of diet?.. I am 5’2, size 6/8. and I had 495cc over hp and I am a 30f which is equivalent to 34dd.. Which isnt huge. As my back is small I know I will have trouble with bras but I was aware of that..

Dr adamo is into the natural look so he wouldnt recommend going huge unless you insisted.

If you measure a 32g, then it makes sense you wanna go smaller for whatever reason why your breasts has grown.. As the implant wouldn’t really achieve that by themselves. But it was the same size as jordans and she went smaller… A lot of people who get carried away end up going smaller. Jordan also was grossed out by the size that’s why she went smaller..

tinaloveable- hey hun, i was wondering if i cud have a lil look at ur pics? i have my BA in just under 3 weeks, im a size 6-8 5ft and currently a 30-32A im getting 340 overs and want to be a full D-DD im now wondering if im guna be too small xx

Hmm… Well u will definitely be around 32d.. But that means u will look a C cup. This was my second ba. My first ba I had 230/260 and I was a 30dd/32d but looked a C cup. (basically equivalent to 34c).. x

Ohhhh no im a little worried now. Especially as my stats are the same . 5ft 5. size 10. weigh 9st 3….AND having 410cc high profiles, I only have 5 sleeps to go.

I have seen a few girls boobies around the size im having, and they look great. Just preying now mine look as goos as theirs and not 32G!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry to hear your unhappy, but its not fair scaring the pre opp girls, i personally had no pain at all, only a slight tightness, an hour after my opp, i was in my hotel bar enjoying the football with my bf, and the day after i was in town shopping for clothes, i had overs, and have seen on here most people have found the experience a bearable one, in life theres always exceptions to the rule, but i think the majority of people are happy with their bas and Havant found it a particularly painful experience, i had 460cc overs and dont think my boobs look particularly huge in fact i would like them a bit bigger xx

I’m having doubts about size. I went from 460 to 410, now wondering if I should have 380.x

@hannahroseeee i got 380 unders from a 32aaa they are are great!! Im only two days po though so havnt any pics yet&! Yes thy ache alot but well worth it. I aint got strong painkillers either only paracetemol cos im allergic to coidine!! Xx

belle hun dont let an one bad story affect your judgement, generally in life theres always people who regret decisions they have made. you know whats right for your body, you know the majority of us have been happy with our decisions. mine took me a while to get used too but thats just the healing process xx

belle and other pre opp girls please dont go smaller after reading this message. come on, there is no way she looks a G from 410 overs!!! dont be scared about it hurting, its uncomfortable and thats about it. maybe a bit achy if ur having unders. xx

sara im totally with you, this post is so unfair for the pre opp girls, obviously i feel for josiejo for having such a bad experience but shes in the minority, come on girls chin up if having a ba was that bad why would so many people have them and then go on to have more than one xx

Thanks girls. I will probs have the 410s, I was fine until 2 weeks ago when stuff happened to make me doubt other life changing decisions I’ve been making. Bring on the summer and I’ll have one less decision to make haha.x

I had 360cc low profile unders and have only gone from a DD to an E in most shops! I am really happy with them but thought I would be so much bigger! It all depends on your size – I am a size 12 and a 36 back so that could be why I didnt go up many cup sizes! I would not change your sizes without seeing photos of how they look!

Even if they do measure a F/G – they dont oftern look that size if that makes sense!

So I really wouldent change your sizes girls! You chose them for a reason – dont let this put you off! xx

I think its really unfair to post a thread like this…like lisa said, everyones pain threshold is different…i admit i had a pretty rough time, but i would never tell anyone not to go ahead with their op based on my personal experience…when you choose your size implants, you choose them cos they are right for you! If i was a pre op girl, i would be terrified after reading this post…I am sorry that your op didn’t turn out as you had hoped but shouldn’t you be talking to the consultants/experts about your situation? Scaring other girls isn’t the way forward…what happened to you doesn’t nescessarily mean it will happen to others…i don’t mean to sound harsh and i’m sorry if i’v come across that way x

i’m pre op, but excited and nervous just for how they will look after and pain (dont think am very good with pain at times)

I’m 5ft 3″ 34 a (size 6)getting 300cc Unders with Mr Aurakzai 5th April (very soon!)

How long have ppls implants usually lasted for? Or is it other reasons ppl get them replaced.

I agree that not everyones pain threshold is the same, i didn’t need any painkillers after 3 days, and even then i’d only been on half and half ones so not strong at all.

I do agree with the bra thing though, girls talk about ‘looking’ a certain size but it doesn’t matter if you don’t ‘look’ a G if this is the size bra you need you will always have trouble!

I only had 340’s and am a 32DD in most places but sometimes need a 30E and this is a nightmare as most stores don’t start at a 30, in fact some only start at a 34, and if they do have 30’s they tend to only go up to a D/DD. Also once you get to DD they tend to put extra material in the bra for support so all those pretty lacy bra’s suddenly look like granny bra’s!!

This has been really hard to get my head around as i had hoped after my BA that would be the one thing i wouldn’t have to worry about!

Don’t enter into this lightly, think about everything including clothes and bra’s and if you make an informed choice you should be happy with the end result xx

Hello josiejo, so sorry to hear you are so dissapointed after your op….. such a shame for you….. a friend of mine went to a dd from a b with 340’s….so I guess no wonder you feel you went a litle too big..

Hopefully this post wont worry girls who havent had their op yet.. It dont worry me as ive spat out 3 kids with no pain relif… plus im going v small only 260 as i just want a little something to put in a bra.. Im not gonna kid myself though that it wont hurt… I will just have to deal with it…

I am the opposite to you & look at girls with boobs & wish I had just had anything … unfortunately you cant make them look bigger if you aint got nothing to start with…

There are so many positive stories on this forum that your bound to get people who have the opposite experience…

Thanks Riggers. You are so right. There are so many positive posts but we still want to try and resolve the negative ones as customer service is so important to us. Josie Jo – I am looking into this and I think your PC will call you. You should have had more checks – and I am sure a letter would have been sent to you. Have you moved? or were you unable to make the appointment? We will get to the bottom of this and i am so sorry you feel this way.

Kirstyanna – one of our hospitals we use had to close so unfortunately this is really out of our control. I think your PC will call you too. Anything else please feel free to PM me.

I agree with sara11 and the others. 410cc is approx 3 cup sizes, you should have looked at the implants surely and even tried them on, so you should have known what they’d be like. Ok, you had a bad experience but to scare pre-op girls isn’t right.

I’m a size 8-10, 5’6″ and was a 34B/C, i had 380 unders and am a DD. I wasnt in pain, a little bit uncomfortable but thats all, i took my pain meds as instructed for the first few days then gradually lowered them and was fine. I had an uplift and implants and was washing my hair over side of bath and drying my hair at 3 days post op.

As said everyone has different pain thresholds. Hope you get sorted soon. xx

Josie- i may be wrong hun cos i didnt develop any boobs at all. But dont womens boobs grow until ur 21 is it possible they have naturally grown on top of ur implants? ?

Yeah I do totally agree that there is also a lot of amazing stories … which is what you want to hear lol … and i wish mine was. Dr Adamo was amazing. I literally have the tiniest neatest scars. I just hate the size.

Womens boobs never stop changing. Hormones weight gain weight loss etc all change them so i guess ill never know lol

Hi josiejo, sorry to hear how upset you are chick Ive spoken to a few girls that have been in your position but after a while they adapt to them? I, like you, was in agony after my op and i wish someone had told me they were too. I have a high pain threshold with everything else but my BA knocked me for six!!! Did you try ringing MYA after your op? They can be a lil slack with aftercare imo.

Variety of posts actually help pre op girls to prepare for the worst even if they wont experience it..good for you huni xxxx

my mum has massive tits, i have none,… she said when she had a kid hers grew massive and that mine would too. so at 28 when i had my son and the milk came in it was like christmas had come!!! until the milk dried out and they ended up smaller than before hahaha guess i inherited my dads pigeon chest instead lmao !!!!! xxxx
