all peircings have to be removed including down below and tongues, the metal messes with the machines they use to make sure you’re ok.

I was told no alchohol 2 weeks before to be safest, asprin is a big no no as are ibuprofen, also some multivitamins.

No nail varnish either, even on toes, no moisturiser or makeup.

Don’t use bio oil until your incisions are fully healed and actually scars, not scabs. If you use it too early it will mess with the healing and make them worse, my scars still have scabs and i’m nearly 6 weeks post op.

I drank the night before mine! Woops! I also completely forgot that I had a metal wire in my mouth to keep my teeth straight! I forget it’s there. Xx

I’ll have to go to a piercing shop and get them to unclamp my tongue bar then because i’ve tried to get it off before and it won’t budge! Actually, i think i can have a plastic one put in can’t i? Because i’m sure it would close up after an hour, tounge piercings close really quickly…. xx

A plastic one would be fine, just no metal.

I you have metal in your hair bobble you cant wear that either, but you need to tie your hair up. x

Tongue piercings dont close up that quickly,..a couple of hours is absolutely fine!! I took mine out and didnt have any problems getting it back in 3 days later,… I struggled getting mine out on the morning of op though,…

I went in with my false nails,…I made sure they were dead short and with CLEAR acrylic over, no nail polish on toes or fingers though,…I had no comment or problem. I am all about breaking the rules!!
