Double Bubble

After finally seing my surgeon ( saw her at 2 weeks then finally 14wks ) I get told the reason my left boob is still high is that I have double bubble. I was told to wear the belt at 2 weeks for a few weeks. So I did. Then got told I should still be wearing it. Im not happy as if I had seen a surgeon at my 6 wk check like I should have I could have been told this. My surgeon wasnt available to do the 6 wk check. I feel let down and it looks weird. 1 boob bigger than the other. I knew I may get double bubble but maybe if id been seen her at 6 wks this might have been resolved.

What is double bubble Hun?

julieanne4, who did yours? wasnt Dr Grob was it? why did you have to wear the belt anyway, was the double bubble already starting, and will it finally settle down. am terrified of this and only reason i went with the smaller choice as Dr Grob said that could be a possibility going for the bigger. really wish you good luck hun. 🙄

poor you hun, they should either settle or offer you a re-op for it, im pretty sure double bubble is covered, especially if you havent had the check ups like you should have xx

double bubble is where you can see both the implant and the breast itself, creating an effect of two boobs, double bubble (i think anyways, people will correct if im wrong) xx

Thanks girls. I was told I could get double bubble but it doesnt look like 2 boobs. To me it just looks like one is higher and bigger and firmer.

sharon24jan. yes it was. The belt is supposed to help push the implants into the pockets.

I think I will ask for a second opinion from another surgeon if it doesnt settle. I should have been seen before the end of January. She knew when she saw me last I needed the belt she should have followed up sooner that way mistakes could have been avoided. Now I feel let down. Im getting married in October in Cyprus and had my dress all picked out. Now thanks to this I am having to get another dress as my boobs look awfull in it now.

I think I need to go and see the nurse, I’m 7 weeks post op and pretty sure my right implant is bottoming out ‘(. Hope all goes well julieanne xxx

abbyrmorris – just looked at your pics babe, as I keep thinking my right is bottoming out and I def don’t think yours is as your scar is still neatly in the crease and your nipple is still central to your boob. My right boob dropped within a few days of op and now over 4 wks PO is alot lower than my left (which I’m hoping still hasn’t dropped) my scar is coming up and sits on my boob now and my nipple is also getting higher just waiting for my 6 week check now to see if my concerns are fobbed off again. x

Ahh missy that has put my mind at ease, thank you!! I gave my PC a call this morning and booked to see the nurse tomorrow, just to be on the safe side! How long is it until your 6 week check hun? Did you have overs or unders?? I hope everything works out ok for you and it is just the fact that our boobies are still settling down! xxx
