Double Bubble? Started by: crystal28

Man I am feeling sooo unlucky at the moment… Had unders back in January with Mr Russo, a week later I had a haematoma and had to be rushed back in for emergency surgery.

Now, almost 4 months later, I’ve got double bubble! Has anyone else had this and had it get better? I’ve made an appointment to see Mr Russo in a few weeks but I’m so upset right now, any reassurance would really welcome. All that pain and losing so much blood (not to mention the money!) just for it to end up looking like this :(

If I do need more surgery, will MYA pay for it?

Also, could it maybe to do with having put on weight since the surgery? Or not wearing a bra? I know I should be asking Mr Russo really but right now I’m just really panicking!

Unfortunately double bubble can occur with unders as the implant slips down or the breast tissue ‘falls off’ the implant creating a ‘2 boob effect’. You need to see what Mr Russo says but it usually involves more surgery and he may decide to place the implants under the muscle instead or try and repair the damage but can involve you needing a breast uplift or pocket revision. I think this complication is covered by MYA and you should have it repaired free of charge but I wouldnt like to say for sure so speak to your PC. So sorry to hear that you have suffered this complication and I wish I could give you better news.

Thanks for the response :) I thought that might be case to be honest. Rather sick of complications now after the haematoma and then an infection…

Very much wish I had never had it done, but I can’t turn back time so guess we’ll see what he says about surgery number 3 then!
