Dr singh..uplift/ implants and drains

Booked in next Tuesday to have uplift and 375 cc implants ,just wondering along with a load of other stuff! Has anyone had same op with him and does he use drains,strapping and did u stay overnight? Thanks x

He definitely doesn’t use drains. And yes for strapping. As for the staying overnight, he should tell you that. Call your PC, it should say in your file..

Thank u! The drains and being put to sleep are my worst fears! I paid for overnight stay but when I had pre op nurse said I wouldn’t b! I’ll phone PC in morning and check.

If your having an uplift it will deffo be an overnight stay, that’s what I got told anyway 🙂 x

Don’t worry about being put to sleep.. The anaesthetists are so hilarious,( at Fitzroy) one kept saying to me “oh, don’t worry about iiit!”, very laid back:)and the other had his hair in dreadlocks 🙂 both in their late 40s-50s. One was distracting me by making small talk and the other put a little catheter in my hand. It was a little scratch. Uncomfortable but not bad.Then he said he’s putting painkillers in, then he said I will go to sleep in a minute and it will feel cold. It felt like someone was running an ice pack up my arm. Then I was out:) it was seconds.
I had two surgeries so maybe that’s why I needed 2 of them..so if you have one, don’t worry.

That’s what I thought I’ve just looked through my bits and I’m deffo in overnight! So that’s cleared that question 🙂 now just the fear of being put to sleep to get over x
