Dr vs Mr

So my surgeon is a Mr not a Doctor. What exactly does that mean? Is he a doctor or no? I thought a surgeon would be a doctor?

I just googled it! It’s actually a weird thing based on how surgeons used to train and doesn’t have anything to do with today’s qualifications!

He is still a doctor but they call themselves mr. Weird

All surgeons are Mr and not Dr. They are still Dr’s. Xx
