Hi Danielle I had drains in overnight, you don’t even know they are in as mine didn’t hurt , when they were removed it didn’t really hurt, just a funny sensation but it’s all over in a few minutes. I think it’s good to have them as they get rid of any fluid that might build up X I had 375 overs , I don’t think there’s too much difference to 350 but it all depends on you x

I haven’t feel anything when the nurse removed them, she was pulling them out when I was breathing deeply. I don’t know if I haven’t feel anything because I had so much pain everywhere or just because with all we going throw that “pain” has nothing to compare lol.

Hope it’s help, don’t be scared! Xx

hey @dan-do i had drains- i didnt realise they were in when i came round and was in so much pain i didnt even care about them, when they get taken out it doesnt hurt- its just a bit odd, kinda like a worm coming out of you lol. im one day post op, i had 300cc mod plus under the muscle, i would class myself as having a strong pain thresh hold but i couldnt even talk/ struggle to still due to the movement in my chest hurting. my advice would be not to worry as every body reacts differently and alot of girls don’t have the same pain. its only temporary! ( its what im telling myself anyways) good luck xx

I had heard horror stories about the drains and so I was crying my eyes out before she even started pulling at them! Honestly, it didn’t ‘hurt’, but it was the worst part of the whole process for me. I haven’t had any pain at all, even after the op. I’ve been lucky! It was a strange sensation but it was over quickly and it was bearable! Xx

Hi Hun, I had my op on Sunday and stayed overnight. Had the drains out Monday morning and it’s honestly not something to worry about!! You can’t feel them in at all whilst they’re in. And when they take them out it is uncomfortable but it’s all over within a couple of seconds! I would also recommend having a wallk around if you can whilst they’re in. Quite a bit came out in the drains when I had a walk and I really think the loss of that fluid has helped reduce the pain!! Hope you get on ok xx

Hi honey, I was a day case. I was in at 7:30, went down at 10:30, back in my room at around 12:15 and was discharged at around 4. X
