    Some surgeons use drains and some don’t.. what’s best???? Also anyone that’s had them are they painful?? xxx

    drains are these tube things that they leave in the breasts after the surgery to get rid of all the fluid build up, they help with the healing process and stop them bruising as bad, but some surgeons use them and some don’t. I don’t know what would be best…. eeeek xx

    Dr Grob always uses them to try and avoid haematomas. I was dreading them, but to be honest you boobs are numb and you dont feel them,only one stitch to keep them in, you only have them over night if staying in ,not sure on day case. I have a pic up if you need to add. good luck. x x x

    I had them .. Not quite sure why there used ..one of mine was really painful ! The other was fine ..but majority of girls have said there fine nothing to worry about ! Xx

    no problem. she is good though, comes and checks you couple of times after. i was glad to be safe than sorry. good luck with yours girls. x

    iv heard nothing but the best about her also found lots of info on her, shes defo who i want to go with. just scared about that part but as u say its worth it in the end if its keeping u that bit safer! xx

    thanks hun. they said keep sports bra on 24/7 for six weeks, have 4, so can swop and wash, but this week, p/o 4 weeks found very itchy and fine when off and have been wearing a vest!!

    Dr Kazzazi uses them I had them for a daycase…nothing to worry about huni!

    I had drains and they are not painful. Nothing to worry about at all. They are used to draw off excess fluid and blood for day patients, but not all docs use them xx

    I had them with Mario Russo, and they dont hurt…they help as they take the excess fuid away! I think they only put them in if you stay overnight at the hospital xx
