I have been told that my drains will be removed in the morning but I have already lent on them numerous times causing a lot of pain so don’t think I’ll be able to sleep with them in.
Surely they can be removed at night as this would have to happen if I were a day case. Anyone else had to keep them in overnight?
I had mine in overnight Jennie! It was a bit uncomfortable to have them out but they do it fairly quick and then when they are out it is sooo much better ! Good Luck, try just to relax when they do it !
Just had them out and yes although it’s not nice, it’s just a relief to have them out. That’s the only part of me that has been really sore so guess I’ve been lucky so far. Doesn’t help that the tightest part of the sports bra rests right on the incisions.
Anyway, really going to try not to moan about it as I have wanted this for so long x
