Hi Erin, the nurse had real trouble getting my right drain out, she was pulling and tugging at it for ages, then had to come back and try again a second time. I didn’t make a sound but I had tears rolling down my face and I am made of tough stuff!! So anyway that area for the first few weeks after my op was more more noticeable/stingy/sore/stabby/tender than the rest of me. When I saw my nurse at the 1 week op I told her about it and she said it’s absolutely normal for that to hurt because it’s had more trauma than the rest of your boobs, and the muscle likely got hold of the drain and then it was torn away. Try not to worry it’s more than likely absolutely nothing to worry about, but obviously mention it to the nurse and I’m sure she will tell you the same xxx
