Drains post op

Has anyone had to have fluid drained post op ? Was it painful and more importantly was it successful

?

I had drains in when I woke up & they were in for I’d say 8 hours and yeah had some fluid & was completely pain free hun bit of a weird feeling but not painful at all xxx

Do you think having this done kept your swelling minimal cause I didn’t have any drains at all ?
