Has anyone had any trouble after removing their strapping? I had my op on Saturday and the nurses said I could remove the foam like strapping, but it was so so hard to remove! It’s left the dressings underneath (over my incisions) so sticky and peeling away at the edges. My follow up appt isn’t until next week and not sure they will last that long! X
I thought that the dressings should only he removed by the nurse after the operation? I’ve had my surgery on the 16th and yesterday was my first appointment with the nurse post op that’s when she removed my dressings and put new ones until next week. I don’t think you should remove it yourself as it is quite difficult.
