Dressings

did anyone take there dressings off before there first post op check, they are driving me mad and irritating ? x

Hi Tink,

I removed mine today 4 days post op my check is on Thursday, my nurse phoned me to see how I was doing and she said it was fine to remove them as they were really irritating me very itchy and suffocating!!

She told me I need to remove them with hot air using a hairdresser on a medium level, and to just make sure I leave on my steri strips covering my insisons.

I feel so much better and my insisons are still covered up x

thanks hun, just did mine, i had my op on the 6th, and i also have my post op check on thursday.
what a relief to get them off eh ! ?

cant wait to get the off so hopefuli my nipples will go back down .

I’m really happy with the results now that I can see them properly without the dressings, I’m wearing a 34D sports bra which I’m very pleased about!
I’m usually a 32 band so they will go down a bit when the swelling calms down but I hope not too much I wanna stay as a D
