drinking after op?

Hiya! So I know that it’s recommended not to have alcohol 2 weeks after your op. Has anyone had anything to drink any sooner? I’m 9 days post op and would loooove to have a couple of glasses of wine tonight. Xx

Haha i was just discussing that with my hubby! My ops tuesday so i cant drink this weekend but i said to him, id bloody love a bottle of wine next weekend!! 🙂 the sacrifices we make to have amazing boobs!! Xx

Oh I know haha still so worth it though. My operation was postponed by a week so I’ve now gone 4 weeks without a drink and I can’t stop eyeing off the bottle of wine that’s been sitting in the fridge haha. Where are you having your op? Xx

Oh no thats torture!! Lol!! Why was it postponed? I bet that was awful! Im having mine done in manchester, i cant wait! Starting to get a little nervous tho! Where did you have yours done? Hows the healing gone? Hope you didnt have too much pain! Xx

Hi girls when I got discharged last night my nurse said I could have a small glass of wine, by that time I’ll be off the antibiotics and should be feeling a little better. Ovs don’t drink before brocade it will thin your blood xxxx

Hahahaa it’s already driving me mad, gonna have to try and pop out even if it’s walking round the block. Feel trapped in here xxx

I’m having my final drink tonight as my op is next Friday. The nurse said they recommend 2 weeks but a week is fine! Dreading going nearly a month from now. I love a glass of wine!x

I know.. All for the sake of boobs haha. @Layla my op was postponed for a weeke because I had a bladder infection a few days before I was meant to go in. I had mine in preston with Mr Traynor. Honestly there’s nothing to be nervous about! It will all be over with before you know so try not to let those nerves get the better of you. Good luck ☺xx

Oh no!! At least its all done now. How are you healing? Ohh i hope so, my admission time is 9am after my sister who is at half 7 so at least its done early and i havent got to sit and stew for too long lol thank you 🙂 xx

I’m healing really well. I just took it slow for the first few days and tried not to move around too much. I stopped taking pain killers on day 3 I think so its been alright all in all. That’s amazing your sister will be there getting hers done on the same day. And you’ll be going through the while process together, that’s awesome ☺
