Drinking Alcohol A Few Days Before Op … ADVICEEEE!!

So Mya recommend 2weeks prior to having your BA to not drink, smoke etc.

My boyfriend has invited me along to a wedding and everyone is going to be drinking this saturday but my BA is on wednesday?? If I did drink I wouldnt go silly & would drink plenty of water after for the 3/4days ish. Is this a stupid question to ask ?? advice please girliesss??xx

Lol I saw this post and thought it said I had written it! I had a few glasses of wine on the sunday before my op and my op was 4 days later on the thursday! I asked my surgeon and he said its fine as long as its not the day before. But I didn’t go with mya so I don’t know if you’d be covered by their aftercare etc if u go against what they have advised! I didn’t stop taking my pill either and mya normally advise girls to stop taking that 2 weeks before too. But I’ve had surgery a few times before on the nhs and neither the pill or alcohol has ever caused me problems that’s why I wasn’t too worried. Xx I’m sure one or two drinks would be fine just don’t go mad and like you say drink lots of water to flush your body through after xx

Lol, i know i thought the same when you’d wrote on this. Thanks for the advice. No I don’t think I’ll be going mad mad on the drink. I dont smoke so thats ok A week today!!! ,, so excited/nervous/anxious ahhhhh!!! xx
