Drinking before op….

Did anyone do this? What are the main risks? xxx

Alcohol has the potential to negatively react with the anesthetic so they recommend you avoid it the day/ night before the op and up to 48 hours after x

Ahh I see! Ive been told not to drink 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after?!!? xx

Alcohol also thins the blood so more prone to bleeding xx

Yes that was on my list too but as I don’t drink much it wasn’t a prob. Do you have a night our planned then?

It was my birthday the day before my operation so it was hard for me ! had a sober birthday this year. But … It was worth it. Xx

Yeah I wouldn’t take the risk hun. You can still enjoy your nights out without drinking xx

Oh no I know that.. Its the work do I am more concerned about. People will think im pregnant. Giving up smoking, no drinking…dieting! LOL xx
