DRINKING pre op? help

Birthday is 12th september, OP is 13th september..

i guess il have a sober birthday!

Will it hurt having a glass or wine or few on the 11th september, as im going to a christining..

what about the 12th aswell, no drinking?

I was told no drinking at least 48 hours before admission, but my nurse recommended a week! xx

I didn’t drink for 2 weeks before.

i thought it was 24hrs so i had a glass of wine 2 nights before and then i read on the day it was 48hrs, whoops, but im still alive

I wouldn’t risk it the day before x

Ok, il have to find out at my pre op and see what they say x

i would not risk drinking the day before hun……..i did not drink a week before xx
