When did everyone start driving?
Is 4 days post op to soon?

Sounds very soon to me, but as long as you can do an emergency stop without pain and use all the gears with no issues, it should be ok. I was in a lot of pain after my op as I had unders, so at day 4 I could barely get out of bed on my own let alone drive. I left it quite late and started driving about 4 weeks po, but my surgeon had said about 2-3 weeks should be ok to drive. I’ve heard people who have had overs started driving after only a week

I drove about 5 mins 8 days op that was far enough. Felt pretty good by day 10 x

I’ve just had a removal, capsulectomy and reaug 2 weeks ago and recovered so quickly ! I drove 5 days post op but my car is automatic so didn’t have to strain going into reverse or 5th gear , think it just depends how your feeling in yourself ( I did have overs though and think that makes a big difference to your arm movement and chest pain ) x
