hey hunni. i havent had my op yet but.i think ur insurance maybe invalid if u crash. not saying u will crash but someone may crash into u so i wouldnt risk it hunni before checking ur insurance docs xx
Me personally… I wasnt comfortable, I tried driving 7 days post off but felt it tricky to look behind me and stuff, so left it a few more days. Everyone feels different though. I would go with there advice of 7 days though. I wondered about this though… if you did drive sooner and you had an accident, would you be covered on the insurance if you had been told not to drive by a medical professional? xxx
Hi Hun. I think their right I don’t think u would be covered and it’s not advisable because of the antibotics and all other medication in your body possibly making you feel drousy x
so i gota walk to do the school run god damn!!!! unlucky me ;( x

aahh nooo, is it far? can u not get a taxi hun? xx
taxiii lol. u coming on the night out in april hun xx
I really, really struggled to change gears and to keep my concentration – took a good few weeks to change gears without it being uncomfortable x
Where’s the night out? x
Oh cool, not that far from me then – well, just under 2 hours but within a reasonable distance.. may have to see if there’s any other Leeds/Bradford girlies going too it
x
I had my op on 28th jan and still haven’t driven! I did have an uplift and implants tho xx
yeah fine just had to turn the wheel like a learner. shuffle it round for a couple days x
Lol, that’s same as what I had to do – could feel it pulling inside, t’was weird x
i didnt feel like i could for 2 n half wks! and it stil wasnt comfortable then! i jst had a crap recovery
x
Im 11 days post op and started driving again yesterday… It was fine only 5th gear felt uncomfortable and the seatbelt in cleavage isnt the best feeling! You arent insured to drive within 7 days of op so deffo not worth the risk- plus if you have to emergency stop, imagine the force of seatbelt on new assets? walking will help keep the circulation going and may help with the bloating from painkillers xx
